With a focus on efficiency and compliance, Nobly has helped Storebrand strengthen information management and streamline workflows — a partnership that has just been extended for five years.

The background to the partnership

Storebrand is one of Norway’s leading financial groups with over 2,300 employees and a history dating back to 1767. In 2019, Storebrand faced a challenge when they needed a new partner to manage document handling.

What we experienced with Nobly, which ultimately made us choose Nobly, was that in addition to delivering a good product, Nobly also had a completely clear plan for how to carry out a migration to a new system.

Strengthening everyday operations at Storebrand

One of the concrete benefits of the partnership has been the establishment of OnBase, a central system that integrates with Salesforce and enables fast and secure access to documents. Kenneth Eriksen, Sales Manager at Nobly Norway, elaborates: “Our objective is for Storebrand to feel that Nobly’s solutions safeguard Storebrand’s requirements for secure information management, and that Nobly is a partner that contributes to real improvement in day-to-day operations.”

Nobly has delivered a solution based on OnBase that creates a clear user experience. This has meant:

With Nobly we have developed solutions that are safe, robust and user-friendly — something that saves us time and lets us focus on other important tasks.

— Fredrik Skurdal, Head of Shared Services at Storebrand Digital

The partnership has resulted in more efficient information management, where a single system replaces many different solutions. Nobly has developed a signing client for Storebrand that is integrated with existing systems. Compliance is also a key priority for Storebrand, and here Nobly is proud to be a partner you can count on, now and in the future. Fredrik Skurdal explains: “We see that we are getting regulations related to DORA, even stronger compliance requirements. We see that Nobly takes compliance seriously and it is also my expectation that Nobly continues to stay up to date and that together we safeguard and meet the requirements that are always in force.”

A partnership that builds confidence

The close collaboration and mutual openness between Nobly and Storebrand is invaluable for achieving success with digital document management. The geographical proximity provides confidence and ensures fast and efficient handling of tasks. Kenneth Wie Eriksen adds: “Being close to our customers is something we prioritise highly. With an office in Norway and our consultants on-site with the customer, we have been able to build a relationship that creates value for both parties.”

The future partnership

With the new 5-year contract, both Storebrand and Nobly look forward to a continued strong partnership, and at Nobly we have ambitions to become an even stronger strategic partner. Fredrik Skurdal sums up his expectations for the future: “My expectations going forward are that we will continue essentially the way we are doing things now, and that we will continue to have good solutions that we will further develop and improve together.”
